Funeral service 11:00 AM Saturday at the Church of The Living God on Porter Street in Paris, Pastor Travis, Pastor Russell and Sgt. Reed Rice will officiate, burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Roy Smith,Jr., Maurice Cowan, Bradley Byars, Marquis Byars and Sean Brandon. Visitation 4:00 - 8:00 PM Friday at McEvoy Funeral Home. He is survived by his father and mother: Rhunia Rice, Chicago, IL and Judith Rice-Washum, Hazel, KY; Fiance`: Sunant Faulke, Las Vegas, NV; daughter: Madison Foulke-Rice, Las Vegas; son: Justin Alexander Rice, Las Vegas; sister: Kimberley (Carlton) Vernado, Peonia, AZ; brothers: Reed (Angela) Rice, Ft. Bliss, TX, Jovan (Rebecca) Rice, Atlanta, GA; grandparents: Mose and Juanita Rice, Louise Washum and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded by grandparents: Earl and Billy Smith, Eileen and Matthew Brandon and Ernest Washum. Eric started attending the Church of The Living God in Paris TN at an early age. He was a 1997 graduate of Hillcrest High School in Olympia Fields, IL and in 1998 completed basic training and A.I.T. in the US Army. A reception will be held following the burial at the Hazel Civic Center, Hazel, KY.
