Funeral Service for Mr. Farmer will be Friday May 23, 2008 11:00 A.M. McEvoy Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Palestine Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 5:00 until 8:00 and after 9:00 Friday. The son of the late Oscar and Rachel Melton Farmer, married to Katie Scott Farmer, preceded 1995. Survived by a son James F. Farmer, McKenzie, TN, nephews Jeff Rainey, Mckenzie, Scottie Rainey, Henry and niece Keaby Braswell, Dresden. Preceded by sisters; Lillian Phifer, Vernell Wofford, Lizy Mae Wheatley, Claire Berry, Mary Ball Pierpoint and Garline Pierpoint all preceded, brothers; Tom Farmer, Charlie Mason Farmer, Glynn Farmer and Leon Farmer all preceded. He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy, Paris and was retired from SPS Cleveland, Ohio as a bolt maker.
