Funeral service 12:00PM Saturday July 25, 2015 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Donald Campbell of the Puryear Church of Christ officiating, burial will follow at Puryear City Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Shannon Elkins, Luke Elkins, Danny Gallimore, John Young, Randy Hammons and David Wynn. Visitation 4:00 - 7:00PM Friday and after 10:30AM Saturday. He was born September 13, 1927 to the late Jack or Ivie Alma Lemonds Wynn. On January 2, 1948 he married Doris Valentine Wynn, she preceded March 22, 2010. Survived by a daughter: Judy (Jimmy) Elkins, Puryear; sisters: Modena Wheatley, Columbia, TN, Flossie York, Paris, TN, Shirley Evans, Puryear, TN, Margie Nanney, Paris, TN, Lottie Hopper, Metropolis, IL, Velma (Jimmy) Bolding, Springville, TN; brother: Willis (Ina Mae) Wynn, Paris, TN; grandchild: Shannon (Shana) Elkins, Dover, TN; great-grandchildren: Luke Basil Elkins, Kya Bradley Elkins, Lily-Kate Elizabeth Elkins and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Preceded by a son: Johnny Dale Wynn, September 3, 1999; sisters: Lilly Wynn, Ruby Wynn; brothers: Frank Wynn, Wilburn Wynn, Hassel Wynn, Harold Wynn, Billy Joe Wynn and a grandson: Justin Elkins, April 19, 2011. Mr. Wynn was a member of the Puryear Church of Christ where he faithfully attended. Ernie enjoyed wildlife and the outdoors.
