Ervin W. Yoder, age 81 years, 10 months and 23 days, of Cottage Grove, TN died Saturday, May 25, 2024 in Batesville, AR. Ervin was born July 2, 1942 in Hartville, Ohio, to the late Wallace V. Yoder and the late Ida Ellen Zook. He was married June 23, 1962 to Louise K. Otto Yoder and she preceded him in death, November 27, 2020. He is survived by seven children, Samuel and wife MaryAnn (Hillsboro, IN), Brenda and husband Duane Yoder (Carrier Mills, IL) Michael and wife Virginia (Cottage Grove, TN), Mary Kathryn and husband Jonathan Miller (Cottage Grove, TN), Mark and wife Dorothea (Goshen, IN), Jason (Cottage Grove, TN), Kevin and wife Faledra (Harrison, AR). Ervin leaves a heritage of 29 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sister, Martha and husband Alfred Gingerich (Manton, MI), brothers, Elmer and wife Edna (Hartville, OH) and Vernon and wife Mary Margaret (Roodhouse, IL) and by sister-in-law, Arlene Yoder (Hartville, OH). In addition to his wife and parents, Ervin is preceded in death by three brothers, Leroy, Alvin and John Henry, a sister, Mary Ellen, three grandsons, Jeffrey, Keith, Dallas Ervin, and a grand-daughter, Sheila. Visitation is scheduled on Monday, May 27, 2024, 2:00 4:00 and 6:00 8:00 PM. His funeral will be Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. both to be held at the Bethel Fellowship Church: 1280 Midway Rd. Paris, TN. Burial will follow services in New Boston Cemetery.
