He Married Elizabeth Farmer Dunn November 3, 1961, she preceded March 4, 2010.Survived by a daughter: Carol Dunn, Paris, TN; sons: Gary E. (Nancy) Dunn, Paris, TN, Barry (Barbara) Dunn, Newark, DE, Randy Dunn, Jacksonville, FL; step-sons: Ron (Marty) Overton, Grand Ledge, MI, David (Debbie) Overton, Okemos, MI; sisters: Dean (Gene) Nagel, Clarksville, TN; sister-in-law: Jean Dunn, Sharon, TN; fourteen grandchildren; twenty one great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.Preceded by a sister: Dot Moreland and a brother: David Dunn.Gene was a member of Maplewood Baptist Church.
