Mrs. Eveleane Tuck Brockwell, age 90 of Paris, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Paris Healthcare & Rehab. Her funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday at McEvoy Funeral Home with burial to follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Bro. Michael Barnhart of New Bethel Baptist Church where she was a member will conduct her services. Visitation will be at McEvoy Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, August 11, 2016 and after 9:00 AM on Friday until service time at 11:00 AM. Serving as pallbearers will be Rod Frey, Hunter Frey, John Latham, Mike Savage, Brian Adams, Devin Parker, Kevin Lemonds, Wesley Lemonds, and Will Lemonds. Mrs. Brockwell was born in Weakley County, Tennessee to the late J.B. Tuck and the late Lena Bell Wallace Tuck. On October 13, 1942 she married John William "Brock" Brockwell who preceded her in death on January 17, 2009. She is survived by two daughters, Sherry Ann (Dale) Steele, and Sue Owen, both of Paris, TN; one son, John William (Teresa) Brockwell, Jr., of Murfreesboro, TN; one sister, Jaylean Sills of Michigan; eleven grandchildren, Lyn Frey, Beth Savage, Anissa Underwood, Lori Lemonds, Brandi Williams, Candace Steele, Jennifer Latham, Lauren Trousdale, Amy Brockwell, Julie Adams, and Kaylyn Steele; twenty-one great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Besides Mrs. Brockwell's parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Sarah Elizabeth "Bo" Boyd; five sisters, Dorothy Pereida, Gladys Bell, Fay Ellis, Catherine French, and Sarah L. Tuck; and one grandchild Joe Stace Boyd. Eveleane Brockwell was co-owner and operator of Brock's Meat Processing with her husband for 37 years which was located on old Paris Murray Road in Paris.
