Evelyn Fay Bomar, age 90, of Paris, Tennessee passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020 at Henry County Healthcare Center. Her funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Cliff Evans officiating. Burial will follow the service in Palestine Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Dickie Bomar, Terry Webb, Rick Revel, Austen Daniels, Steve Daniels and Dustin Hudson. Visitation is scheduled after 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday until time of service. Evelyn Fay Bomar was born June 21, 1929 in Henry County, Tennessee to the late Homer Joyner and the late Gracie Simpson Joyner. She married J.H. "Buddy" Bright on February 3, 1954 and he preceded her in death on December 4, 1992. She later married Robert Bomar on August 31, 1996 and he preceded her in death on January 21, 2006. She is survived by her daughter, Teri (Lonnie) Kramer of Rogers, Arkansas; step-daughter, Janice (Randy) Crutcher of Paris; son: Leslie R. (Lugena) Bright of Paris; step-son, Dickie (Lynn) Bomar; sister, Ann (John) Hudson of Paris; brothers, Donald (Sandy) Joyner of Middleton, Idaho, Jimmy (Betty) Joyner of San Pablo, CA; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren. Besides her parents and spouses, Evelyn is also preceded by daughter, Vicki Townsen (1958) and brother William R. "Billy" Joyner. Mrs. Bomar was a member of West Paris Baptist Church. She retired from Holley Carburetor in Paris after many years. Evelyn loved her family, her friends, and especially her church. SERVICES Funeral Service
