Funeral service 3:00PM Saturday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Rev. Hiram Harrison officiating, entombment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers: David M. Smith, Jr., Donald Ellis, Brian Arnold, Trey Smith, David Lovelace, Jr., John Lovelace, Erik Hart, honorary pallbearers will be great great-nephews. Visitation 1:00 to 3:00PM Saturday. She was born in Chester County, TN to the late Glaten Lee and Mary Lee Latham Arnold. She married Robert E. Pierce December 22, 1946, he preceded February 9, 1999. Survived by nieces: Sarah Arnold (David) Smith, Beech Bluff, TN, Sally Arnold (Don) Ellis, Beech Bluff, TN; nephews: John (Betty) Arnold Beech Bluff, TN, Eddie (Jackie) Arnold, Jonesboro, AR and cousins, great and great great nieces and nephews. Preceded by a brother John W. Arnold. Mrs. Pierce was a member of the First United Methodist in Paris. She formerly worked and retired from the Clippard Plant, was a homemaker and was active in preparing and delivering food baskets to families in the community.
