Funeral services for Mrs. Faye L. Clayton, age 79, of Paris, TN will be conducted on Friday, July 16, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at McEvoy Funeral Home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday at McEvoys from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until service time at 11:00 A.M. Mrs. Clayton was married to James Clayton on July 4, 1947 who precedes her. She is survived by daughter; Dorothy (Gerald) Rice, Springville, TN, sisters; Betty (Roger) Underwood, Cottage Grove, TN, Jinelle (Jimmy) Hainley, Springville, TN, Judy (Charlie) Merrell, Big Sandy, TN, Ethel Johnson, Paris, TN, brother; Russell (Mary Ruth) Wallace, Paris, TN, grandchildren; Chris Rice, Paris, TN, Jason Rice, Springville, TN, great grandchildren; Natalie Rice, Springville, TN. Sisters; Hinda Russell, Frances Evans, brothers; Everett Wallace, and Frank Wallace precede Mrs. Clayton. Quentin Martin, David Underwood, Carl Sykes, Roger Underwood, Tom Hainley, and Kyle Green will serve as pallbearers. Jimmy Hainley, Russell Wallace, and Tommy Cox will serve as honorary pallbearers. Mrs. Clayton was a member of Point Pleasant Baptist Church and had formerly worked at Salant and Salant, and at Mar-Kel Lighting.
