Faye Cherry Davis, age 82, of Paris, Tennessee passed away peacefully with her family present, on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at her residence. Her body is to be cremated and a celebration of life will be planned by her family for a later date. Her ashes will be buried alongside her husband, John Franklin Davis at Olive Branch Cemetery.

Faye Cherry Davis was born, November 5, 1943, in Paris, Tennessee,  to the late LaFayette Cherry and the late Catherine Bomar Cherry. She married teen sweetheart and love of her life, John Franklin Davis and he preceded her in death on November 20, 2004. Faye is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Mike) Mulderink of Cottage Grove and Pamela (Douglas) King of Tallahassee, Florida; sons, Les (Angie) Davis of Buchanan and Christopher (Katie) Davis of College Station, Texas; twelve grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; by her brother, Joseph Wilson Cherry of Huntsville, Alabama; and by brother-in-law, James McDaniel of Atlanta, Georgia.

Besides her parents and husband, Mrs. Davis is also preceded in death by her sister, Bobbye Sue McDaniel and by her sister-in-law, Linda Cherry.

Mrs. Davis was an active member of Henry Baptist Church. She was known to be an incredible quilter and seamstress, who was a perfectionist at decorating, gardening, along with many other things. Faye was an excellent cook who also enjoyed going fishing.
