He was born in Erie, Pennsylvania to the late Floyd Arthur Resinger, Sr. and Geraldin Hicks Resinger. On November 27, 1987 he married JoAnn F. Ward Resinger, she preceded August 6, 2012.
Survived by a daughter: Jennifer Resinger, Marietta, GA; step-daughters: Sharon (James) Buchanan, Puryear, Donna (Alex) Fullmer, McKenzie, Tammy Lahner, Paris; step-sons: Daniel (Jennifer) Myers, Atwood, William (Stephanie) Myers, McKenzie; grandchildren: Sarah and Hannah Dreiske; niece: Peggy DelFuoco.
Preceded by a son: Scott Resinger, September 1971.
