Funeral Service for Mrs. Matheny will be Saturday November 15, 2:00 P.M. at McEvoy Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Memorial Cemetery.Visitation will be Friday 4:00 until 8:00 and after 10:00 Saturday. She is survived by daughters; Kay Carroll, Paris, Faye (Melvin) Duke, Puryear, TN, Sister; Robbie (Ralph) McClain, Paris, grandchildren; Russell (Carol) Duke, Jr. Lakeland, TN, Christopher (Renee) Duke, Paris, great-grandchildren; Allison Taylor Duke, Paris, Emma Cole Duke and Sara Kate Duke both of Lakeland, TN and several cousins and a host of friends. Preceded by parents; Waymon Alexander and Minnie Ola Boyd Jackson, husband Henry Edgar Matheny, sisters; Velma Lorene Merrell, Pearl Morrell Charles and Vela Gray Jackson. Member of New Bethel Baptist Church, formerly owned and operated Matheny's Day Care Center 1974-1989.
