A 5:00PM Memorial Service will be held Friday May 27, 2011 at the Manleyville Cornerstone Church,conducted by Pastor Linda Barrett, there is no visitation scheduled prior to the service. Named as pallbearers are Mason, David and Jamie Conger and Anthony Clayton. He is survived by a daughter; Angela (Tim) Jenkins, Kansas City, MO, son; Edward Conger, Paris, TN, brother; Robert Mason (Barbara) Conger, Paris, TN, grandchildren; Tia December Conger, Anna , Sarah and David Jenkins, nephews; David Alan and Jamie Michael Conger. Preceded by his parents; Ed and Era Mai Hooper Conger. Fred was a 1967 graduate of E.W. Grove High School, Vietnam Veteran serving in the US Airforce (1967-1970), served in the US Army and the Army National Guard, 890th Engineering Company during Desert Storm with a toal of 28 years, retired from the US Army July 6, 2007 Sergeant (E5). He was a member of the Manleyville Cornerstone Church. He formerly worked at Wal-Mart in the Garden Center and with Jimmy Mosley's Tree Service.
