Visitation 5:00 - 7:00 PM Thursday at McEvoy Funeral Home. Survived by his parents: Susan Elizabeth "Beth" Abernathy Thomas and Richard E. Thomas of Columbus, MS, and Charles Wayne and Lynn Gregory of Nashville, TN; son: Aaron Gregory, Murfreesboro; brother: Charles C. (Jeanine) Gregory, Smyrna; grandparents: Bailey and Betty Abernathy, Biloxi, MS, Mary Gregory Thompson, Portland; great grandparent: Blake Cowan, Brentwood; great aunts: Gene Richardson, Paris, Suzanna Herron, Paris; great uncle: Andrew Abernathy, Paris and Palmyra, TN. Blake attended New Hope High School in columbus, MS. He was known for his love of life, sense of humor and his dedication to family. He will be greatly missed.
