Geneva Roberta Hill

Geneva Roberta Hill of Paris, TN, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at her residence. Her funeral service will be on Monday, June 29th, at 1:00 pm at Trinity United Methodist Church with Pastor Emily Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be at Trinity United Methodist Church from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Monday before the service.

Pallbearers for Ms. Hill will be Chad Baldwin, Chris Walker, Lee Jones, Waylon Vinson, Adam Weatherly, Matt Matheny, Austin Jones, Jameson Hayes, and Justin Mowrey.

Geneva Roberta Hill was born on August 5, 1936, to the late Loren Holly Rogers and the late Relma LaVergne Hooper Rogers. On November 27, 1954, she married Ray B. Hill, who preceded her in death on December 11, 2010.

Roberta spent many years working in the Henry County Clerk’s office, retiring to become “Me-Me” to her grandkids, great grandkids, and so many of their friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family, baking, writing poems, and drawing.

Ms. Hill is survived by her grandchildren: Kristian Michelle Hill Elliott (John), Jon-Michael Ray Hill (Nicole), & Michael Chase Hill (Jasmine); great-grandchildren: Gene Elliott, Anna Elliott, & Max Elliott, Lily & Mia Hill, and Bentley Hill (arriving Aug 2026); and numerous great nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Besides her parents and husband, Roberta was also preceded in death by her son, Michael Ray Hill, and her sisters, Betty Jo Woolam and Leenie Jane Higgins.
