Funeral Service for Mrs. Murray will be Saturday 3:30 PM at the First Baptist Church in Paris with burial to follow at Maplewood Cemetery, visitation 1:00 - 3:00 Saturday at McEvoy Funeral Home.

Gene was the daughter of the late Walter Alexander and Nellie Mae Jobe Jackson, she married Walter Thomas Murray June 10, 1944, he preceded March 2, 2004.
She is survived by daughters; Marcia Gene Murray Moss and Susan Kay (Randy) Allison, both of Jackson, TN, sister; Opal Barnett, Paris, TN, brother; James (Maxine) Jackson, Grants Pass, OR, grandchildren; William Moss, III, Meredith Moss Varino, Kate Moss Clinton, Murray McCarroll Moss, Robert E. Arnett, II, Rachel Kathleen Allison, Frederick "Rick" Allison, John Russell "Russ" Allison, great-grandchildren; Henry and Lucy Moss, Lilly Kate and Abby Varino, Avery and Stella Clinton, Blair and Jeanne Monroe Moss
Preceded by son-in-law; William Preston Moss, Jr., sisters; Luberta Vaughn, Sue Belle Collins, Kathleen Dunn, Mattie Lee Clark, Clydie Mae McGonigal, brothers; Wade and J.B. Jackson.
Member of the First Baptist Church, she was involved in the W.M.U. and a member of the Myrtice Owens Circle, taught Sunday School and Training Union, member of the Janusette Delphian Club, Girl Scout Leader and avid Bridge Player.
The family is very grateful to Mrs. Murray's very special caregivers: Mable Ingram, Amanda Taylor, Mary Bush, Connie Smith and Patricia Light.
