Funeral services will be held on Saturday September 26, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church in Paris TN. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the church after 9:00 am until service time. Jerry is survived by his wife,Mary Lou Colvin, his mother, Mrs. Effie Avery Colvin; two daughters, Cheryl (Bob) Evans of Hamberg, AR and Cynthia Marie (Scott) Morris of Buchanan,TN; two sons, Kevin (Michelle) Colvin of MI and Mark Colvin of Colorado Springs,CO. Mr. Colvin was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving two tours of duty in Vietnam and also served in Korea. He retired after 29 years as Major. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Paris.
