Geraldine Watkins Evans, age 85, of Paris, Tennessee passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Huntingdon Healthcare Center. Her graveside funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Bethesda Cemetery with Everett Holloway of Church of God of Prophecy officiating. Burial will follow the service and family members will serve as pallbearers. Geraldine Watkins Evans was born July 13, 1935 in Henry County, Tennessee to the late William James Watkins and the late Nellie Hudson Watkins. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Roger) Coleman of Paris; son, Walter Lee Evans of McKenzie; grandchildren, Jason Coleman, Joseph Coleman, Amy (Wesley) Bomar, Andrea Parrish, Michael Evans, Kelly Evans and Chris Evans; numerous great grandchildren; and brother, Billy (Janice) Watkins of Paris. Besides her parents, Geraldine is also preceded by a son, Michael W. Evans (2018) and sister, Maxine Charlton (January 5, 2021). Geraldine worked for Paris Housing Authority and also as a seamstress with several local businesses. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, driving around on country roads, going on picnics and most especially loved her family.
