Geraldine Freeman Gaulding

Geraldine Freeman Gaulding, age 79, of Paris, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at West TN Henry County Hospital. A private family graveside service is being planned.

Geraldine was born on November 18, 1946, in Paris, TN, to the late Clyde Freeman and the late Nora Profitt Freeman. She married Frank Gualding on October 28, 1974, and he preceded her in death on December 12, 2020. Mrs. Gaulding is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Joey) McDaniel of McKenzie, and Vicky (Keith) Qualls of Henry; son, Tracy Gaulding of Paris; grandchildren, Josh (Ashlie) Archer, Dane Archer, Loren Archer, Blake (Lexie) Gooch, Hunter Gooch, Baylee McDaniel (Dhruvil Bhati), Traci (Richard) Gaulding, Cody (Magan) Gaulding, April (Jason) Waddell, Amanda Crosby, Bridgette (Dwayne) Martin, Justin Freeland; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Geraldine is also preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy Freeland, and her brother, Tommy Freeman.

Geraldine enjoyed reading, watching “Hallmark” movies, and attending family gatherings when she was able. The word “step” was not in her vocabulary, as she loved her entire family the same.
