Geraldine Hill Parrish, formerly of Paris, passed away Monday, December 21, 2009 at the Maine General Rehabilitation and Nursing Care Center in Augusta, Maine. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 13, 2010 at McEvoy Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Bevil Cemetery. No visitation is scheduled. She is survived by her son; James Roy (Sheila) Parrish, Chelsea, Maine, grandchildren; Jaime (Kameel) Farag, Oakland, ME, Whitney Anne Parrish, Chelsea, ME, great grandchildren; Alexandria and Emma Parrish and Olivia Farag, special cousin, Larry (Caroline) Ford, Bruceton, TN. Preceded by her parents; George Atkins and Lulah Cleaver Hill, husband; James Herman Parrish, sisters; Christine Hill and Grace Hill. A member of the Hollow Rock Methodist Church in Carroll County and Shiloh United Methodist Church in Henry County, TN. Formerly worked with Bank of Huntingdon, Hollow Rock Branch as Assistant Vice President with 35 years of service. Mrs. Parrish was an avid quilter, loved reading, spending time with her granddaughters and great granddaughters.
