Geraldine Somerville

Geraldine Somerville, age 70 of Paris, passed away Monday, April 6, 2026, at Alive Hospice in Nashville. Her funeral service will be graveside at Bevil Cemetery at 1:00 PM, Friday, April 10, 2026, with Pam Hughes officiating. Burial will follow, and there will be no visitation prior to the service.

Pallbearers for Ms. Somerville will be Michael Somerville, Roy Somerville, Kelby Steele, Timothy Berry, Dion Chenoweth, and Devon Treadway.

Geraldine was born May 24, 1955, in Paris to the late Roy Lee and Merle Scott Dunlap. She married Billy S. Somerville, and he preceded her in death on February 9, 2014.

Ms. Somerville is survived by her daughter, Tammy Steele of McMinnville, TN; Billy Michael Somerville and Roy Somerville, both of Paris; sister, Linda Berry of Paris; grandchildren, including Kelby Steele, and one great-grandchild.

Besides her parents and husband, Geraldine was also preceded in death by her sisters Brenda Lewis and Sandra Akers.

She was a Christian and loved Lakeside Christian Fellowship Church. She was a loving mother who loved her children.
