Ms. Geraldine E. Willey, age 79 of Henry, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at Henry County Healthcare Center. A private family service is scheduled in Middle Tennessee State Veteran's Cemetery at a later date. Geraldine E. Willey was born September 4, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Bernard Schnelker and the late Elanor Phillips. She married Edward Willey in April of 1988 and he preceded her in death in 2013. She is survived by her daughters, Valerie Carls of Henry, Vicki (Henry) Page of Cottage Grove, and Kelly (Jeff) Jahn of Ohio; son, Daniel (Colleen) Carls of Conroe, Texas; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, nieces, Deb and Kim Nichols; nephew, Paul Spencer; and special friend and caregiver, Barb Spicer. Besides her parents and husband, Geraldine is also preceded in death by one grandchild, one sister and one brother. Ms. Willey was a lifetime member of Amvets Auxiliary Post 45. She enjoyed playing Texas Hold'em poker and Yahtzee. Geraldine also loved watching the gaming network and Hallmark channels. The family wishes to express their appreciation and gratitude to Avalon Hospice for the care and professionalism shown to Geraldine and her family during her time of illness.
