Lillian Gertrude "Gertie" Ellis Scott, age 95, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Tennova Healthcare in Shelbyville, Tennessee. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Lillian Gertrude Scott was born November 26, 1922 in Henry County to the late Lela Lillian Nanney and Murray Thomas Ellis. On December 01, 1945 she married L.C. Scott and he preceded her in death on December 05, 1975. She is survived by two daughters: Carolyn (William) Wade and Linda (Gary) Montgomery; 1 son: Johnny Scott; 12 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded by 1 son: Donnie Scott, 2 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
