Mr. Glenn Brown age 80 of Henry, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at his residence. His funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 29, 2019 at McEvoy Funeral Home with son in law, Dale Joyner to officiate. Burial will follow the service in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Visitation is scheduled on Thursday at McEvoy from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. and again on Friday after 12:00 P.M. until time of service. Robert Glenn Brown was born May 9, 1938 in Henry, Tennessee to the late Irvin K. Brown and the late Annie Hamlin Brown. He married Betty McKenzie Brown on October 21, 1954 and she survives in Henry. He is also survived by daughters, Cindy (Dale) Joyner of Henry, Tambre (Robert) Abbott of Paris, and Hope (John Lowery) Brown of Mansfield; brother, Bill (Joan) Brown of McKenzie; grandchildren, Jil Joyner, Matt Joyner, Justin (Leah) Marr, Andrew (Kayla) Marr, Trevor (Nicole) Marr, Bo Abbott, Aaron Abbott, and Pyper Abbott; and twelve great grandchildren. Besides his parents, Glenn is also preceded in death by his brother, Jim Brown. Mr. Brown was a longtime employee of Holley Carburetor and was affectionately known as "Shorty" by his co-workers.
