Gloria Easlick Jenkins, age 89 of Puryear, TN, passed away Monday ,October 12, 2015 at Benchmark Assisted Living, LLC in Puryear. Funeral service 11:00AM Thursday, October 15, 2015 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Barry Smith of North Fork Baptist Church officiating, burial will follow at Puryear City Cemetery. Visitation 4:00 - 7:00PM Wednesday and after 9:00AM Thursday. Mrs. Jenkins was born in Saginaw, MI to the late Glenn and Iris Easlick. On November 4, 1944 she married Morris Jenkins, he preceded June 22, 2015. Survived by sons: Tom (Brenda) Jenkins, Paris, TN, Mike (Cheryl) Jenkins, Lebanon, TN, Kenny (Kim) Jenkins, Puryear, TN; sisters: Cherie McKinney, Bunker Hill, IL, Iris Larsen, Davenport, IA; grandchildren: Adam (Jamie) Jenkins, Mallorie (Syd) Hutson, Blake Jenkins, Kit (Chasity) Jenkins, Jill (Kevin) Stotts, Troy Jenkins; great-grandchildren: Travis Jenkins, Hayden Hutson, Ella Hutson, Wesley Jenkins, Bailey Jenkins, Kiley Jenkins, Hudson Stotts, Kingston Stotts and Carson Stotts. Preceded by a brother: Sonny Easlick. She was a long time member of North Fork Baptist Church and retired as Postmaster of the Puryear Post Office. Mrs. Jenkins enjoyed her family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
