Goldie Merell French

Goldie Merell Green French, age 78, Springville, TN, died Saturday, January 23, 2010 at her residence. Her funeral will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, in McEvoy Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Manleyville Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 - 8:00 PM Monday and after 9:00 AM Tuesday. She was the widow of Gordon Bomar French, they were married October 18, 1947 and he preceded November 10, 2006. She is survived by three children, Glenda Carol French, Larry R. (Linda) French, and David S. French, all of Springville, TN, grandson, Michael (Marisa) French, Paris, TN, three great-grandchildren, Andrew, Evan and Laurel French, Paris, TN, and a sister, Hinda Thompson, Buchanan, TN.
