Funeral service 2:00PM Friday at McEvoy Funeral Home with Gail Hudspeth of Community of Christ Church officiating, burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Curt Taylor, Rodney Hill, David Robbins, Charles McDaniel, Dwayne Oxford and Howard McClure. Visitation beginning at 11:00AM Friday until service time. He was married to Mattie "Jewel" Ray Jeter in 1950, she preceded September 14, 2008. Survived by two daughters: Nancy Armijo, Las Vegas, NV, Norma (Curt) Taylor, Puryear, TN and a niece: Jo Anne Ray, Detroit, MI. Preceded by five sisters, three brothers and a nephew: Kimmy Ray. Mr. Jeter was retired from Holley Carburetor Plant and was a WWII Army Veteran.
