Lonnie Heath, age 76 of Paris, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2016 at his residence. His body will be cremated and a graveside service will be Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery with burial to follow. Bro. Glynn Orr of New Hope Baptist Church will officiate. Harold Lonnie Heath was born February 23, 1940 in Gleason, TN to the late James Harold Heath and the late Marjorie Owen Heath. He is survived by two sons, Shane (Melody) Heath of Paris, TN and Van Clendenin of St. Louis, MO; two sisters, Kaye (Jerry) Brogdon and Phyllis Clayton both of Paris, TN; two brothers, Tommy (La Jeanna Thornton) Heath of Murray, KY and Steven (Judy) Heath of Spring Hill, TN; five grandchildren, Brady and Sidney Heath, Misty (Mark) Mezo, Jimmy Winters, and Daniel Clendenin. Lonnie is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, one son-in-law (Jack Winters), numerous nieces, nephews, special caregivers and friends, and members of Mrs. Sadie Pfluger's family. Besides his parents, Lonnie was preceded in death by one daughter, Pam Winters; three brothers, Roger, Kenneth, and Gary Heath; and a special companion Sadie Pflueger. Lonnie was a Christian. He worked and retired as a carpenter in the Henry County area. He was a Vanderbilt basketball fan.
