Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at McEvoy Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Wright Cemetery with military rites, visitation 4:00 until 8:00 Friday and after 10:00 Saturday. He is survived by his wife Mary Ludene Perry Owen, Paris, TN, daughter; Gayle Reed, Paris, TN, sisters; Sarah McGuire, Paris, TN, Joyce Morris, Clarksville, TN, brothers; James (Geneva) Owen, Lansing, MI, Gordon Owen, Paris, TN, Byron (Betty) Owen, Paris, TN, brother-in-law; Mickie (Anita) Perry, Jackson, TN, grandchildren; Ross Reed, Paris, TN, Robyn (Rick) Tumlin, Acworth, GA, great-grandchildren; Rick Tumlin, Jr., Reed Tumlin, Rebekka Reed, Rileigh Tumlin and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Preceded by his parents; Henry Washington and Mattie Bell Vaughn Owen, daughter; Paula Lee Owen, son; Harold Ray Owen,Jr., sisters; Geneva McClure, Naomi Woodward, Marjorie Heath. Retired from Holley Carburator Plant after 33 years of service and was a farmer in the Sunnyside Community. Attended the Lebanon United Methodist Church, Navy Veteran of WWII, Pearl Harbor Survivor serving on the Battle Ship "Pennsylvania", former member of the Pearl Harbor Survivor Association.
