Mrs. Harriet Sue Peebles Lawrence, age 83, of Henry, TN passed away Friday, January 30, 2015. Visitation will be Monday, February 2, 2015 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM and after 12:30 PM Tuesday. Her funeral service will be held at McEvoy Funeral Home 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 3, burial will follow in the Old Union Cemetery. Debra McGuire of Henry United Methodist Church and Emily Walker (niece) Pastor of Bethesda Untied Methodist Church will officiate. Named as pallbearers are: Johnny Hudson, Jimmy Hudson, Mike Hudson, Jerry Muzzall, Brian Bishop, Reggie Lawrence, and John Lawrence. Mrs. Harriet Lawrence was born September 19, 1931 in Henry, TN to the late Duke Peebles and Doris Allen Peebles, both preceded. On July 15, 1949 she married R.C. Lawrence, who preceded on April 7, 2004. Mrs. Lawrence is survived by two daughters, Sue Ellen (Joe) Jeruzal, Germantown, TN; Debbie (Ralph) Wiles, Paris, TN; one grandchild, Kristen Jeruzal. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Mrs. Lawrence was preceded by two sisters, Betty Hudson and Charleene Muzzell; and also two brothers, William Duke Peebles and John Hurst Peebles. Mrs. Lawrence was a lifetime member of Henry United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school.
