Harriett "Diann" Geary, age 82, of Jamestown, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Her body is to be cremated and a small service is being planned for the summer at Dale Hollow Lake near Celina, Tennessee.

Diann was born on April 10, 1943 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Harry W. Ransdell and the late Ella G. Crank (Hazelwood). She is survived by her sons, Shannon (Jackie) Dossey of Paris, Tennessee, Wayne (Michelle) Dossey of Mt. Washington, Kentucky, and Fonzie (Laura) Geary, II, of Batesville, Arkansas; by her grandchildren, Aaron (Krystal) Dossey, Cameron Dossey, Chaeli Dossey, Fonzie Geary, III, Isabelle Geary, and Sophia Geary; great-grandchildren, Harper Dossey, Hadlee Dossey, and Hunter Dossey; and by her sister-in-law, Ginny Ransdell of Louisville.

Besides her parents, Diann is also preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Pauline (Earl) Parks, formerly of Louisville and by her brother, William Ransdell, formerly of Louisville.

Diann was a Baptist by faith and regularly attended her local church in Jamestown, Kentucky. She dearly loved her family and enjoyed having Christmas dinner with them every year. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were an absolute joy to her. She loved making chocolate pies and sharing them with folks everywhere. Of all the things she would prepare for family get-togethers or a trip to the lake, her potato salad was the absolute best in the world, according to her son, Shannon.
