Harvey F. Smith, age 87 of Springville, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at his residence. No services are scheduled at this time. Harvey Frank Smith was born July 24, 1931 in Jackson, Michigan to the late Tennis H. Smith and the late Myra Bouldry Smith. On June 10, 1950 he married Phyllis Ray Smith and she survives in Springville, TN. He is also survived by three daughters: Jean (Albert) Barone and Vicki (Leo) Davis all of Springville, TN and Cathy Carr of Clarklake, MI; two sons: William (Tina) Smith and Phillip (Tami Tilden) Smith all of Jackson, MI; two sisters: Geraldine Furman of Houston, TX and Gladys Dennis of Michigan Center, MI; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Besides his parents, Mr. Smith was also preceded in death by a daughter, Wrayetta M. Harvel; a sister, Opal Halm; and four brothers: Loyal Smith, Robert Smith, David "Wrae" Smith, and Carl Smith. Harvey Smith loved to hunt and fish. His celebration of life started in July and continued into August when his children and grandchildren came in from eight states.
