Funeral service 10:00AM Wednesday, April 9th at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. John McKee of West Murray Church of Christ officiating, burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation 4:00 - 7:00PM Tuesday and after 9:00AM Wednesday. He was born in Baxter, KY to the late Edward Garrett and Mary Hensley White. On March 14, 1951 he married Bernice Jones White, she survives in Paris. Survived by a son: Allen White, Murray, KY; twin sister: Mabins Harris, Baxter, KY; sister-in-law: Hazel Carter, Springville; niece: Novalee Green, Springville; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded by brothers: Roger White and John Dawson "J.D." White. Mr. White was a retired U.S. Navy veteran, he served from June 1941 to June 1965. He was stationd at Pearl Harbor and served in the South Pacific Theater. After retiring from the Navy he worked in California as plant engineer for Chemtronics where parts were manufactured for jet engines. Henry was a member of West Murray Church of Chirst. He also enjoyed wood working. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of your choice.
