Herman S. Johnson, age 82 of Paris, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Henry County Medical Center. His body is to be cremated and his memorial service will be Sunday, October 30, 2016 at 12:30 PM at the Friendship Baptist Church where he was a member. Danny Williams will officiate and burial will follow in the New Beaver Dam Cemetery. Herman Johnson was born July 27, 1934 in Scotts Hill, Tennessee to the late Ruffuss D. Johnson and the late Linnie M. Ross Johnson. On November 23, 2000 he married Susan Page Johnson who survives in Paris, Tennessee. Besides his wife, Mr. Johnson is survived by two daughters, Debbie Todd of Mississippi and Judy Johnson of Dyersburg, TN; two sons, Malcom and Jerry Johnson, both of Union City, TN; one step-son, Johnny Willoughby of Paris, TN; one sister, Gail Britton of Alamo, TN; numerous grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Besides his parents, Mr. Johnson was also preceded in death by two sons, Glen and Deeroy Johnson; two sisters, Faye Britton and Gladys Johnson; and one brother, John D. Johnson. Mr. Herman S.
