Funeral services for Mr. Hershel Ray Hudson, age 93, of Paris, TN will be conducted on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at McEvoy Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. with burial to follow in Bethesda Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-8 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. on Wednesday. Mr. Hudson was married on May 6, 1939 to the late Mildred Robinson Hudson. Mr. Hudson is survived by daughters; Sue (Jerry) Watkins, Paris, TN, Wanda (Darryl) Dunlap, Paris, TN, Judy Crosby, Clarksville, TN, Jane (Gary) Barker, Paris, TN, grandchildren; Tim (Kim) Dunlap, Lisa (Rusty) Wiles, Susan French, Mickey (Michele) Barker, Jennifer Byard, step grandchildren; Dana (Rich) Mullins, Diane (Bo) McCauly, great grandchildren; Brittany, Collins, Randi and Allison Wiles, Logan and Katie Dunlap, J. Michael French, Ryan and Emma Barker, step great grandchildren; Aislin McCauly, special friends; Larry (Sue) Reese and Lucille Nichols, he is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Hershel is preceded by parents; William Lee and Lucy Jane Cole Hudson, sisters; Vernie Crosser, Mae Kennon, Pearl Jones, Jewel Jackson, brothers; Clifford Hudson, Edward Hudson, Robert Hudson, Hillary Hudson. Mr. Hudson was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, member of the Springville Masonic Lodge and a member of the Henry County Cattlemans Association. He had retired from L&N Railroad as an Engineer.
