Funeral service will be Sunday 2:00PM at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Sanders and Bro. Billy Ross officiating, burial will follow at Poplar Grove Cemetery in Spingville.
Visitation 4:00 - 8:00PM Saturday and after 10:00AM Sunday.

She was born in Paris, TN to the late Rupert and Willie Ellen Jenkins Toombs. On March 29, 1947 she married Fred David "Bud" Winsett, he preceded May 5, 1995.
Survived by daughters: Sissie (Eddie) Wiltshire, Cottage Grove, TN, Robin (Tommy) Pierce, Paris, TN; son: David (Lalia) Winsett, Paris, TN; sister: Sue Sculley, Fort Myers, FL; brother: Bobby Toombs, Big Sandy, TN; grandchildren: Dana (John) Chango, Melissa (Rick) Moody, Kelly (Greg) Andrews, Danyel (Paul) Harber, Lindsey (Nathan) Smith, Kasey (Cliff) Barna; great-grandchildren: Madison, Makenzie and Gavin Moody, C.J., Eli and David Chango, Abigail, Britton and Cane Andrews, Olivia, Noah and Izzy Harber, Natile, Maddy and John Patrick Smith.
Preceded by sisters: Mary Odom, Daphine Ditzenberger; brothers: Hugo Toombs, Franklin Toombs, Elmo Toombs and a great-grandson: Brady Andrews.
Mrs. Winsett was a member of the Springville Baptist Church for over 60 years. She loved her church and lead singing there for over 30 years.
She was retired from the Clippard Instrument Company and Holley Carburetor Plant.
Violet was a Caregiver to her entire family and a homemaker.
