Holly Morgan Smith, age 43 of Puryear, TN passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at her residence. Her celebration of life will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at McEvoy Funeral Home with Carlton Gerrell of Tennessee Valley Community Church where she was a member officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM Tuesday before the service at McEvoy Funeral Home. Holly Morgan Smith was born December 26, 1977, in Royal Oak, Michigan to Michael "Mike" (Shawn) Morgan of Michigan and Jill (Al) Ortago of Puryear, Tennessee. Holly worked at Kingdom Trust in Murray, KY, and was a huge animal advocate. "Mama Holly" was a second mother to many of her sons' friends' children. Along with her parents, Holly is also survived by two sons: Hunter Smith (Natalia Churchman-Smith) of Huntingtown, MD and Zach Smith of Puryear, TN; one sister, Erica (Kevin) Penn of Michigan; two brothers: Stephen Morgan and Gerald (Marla) Morgan, all of Michigan; and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including her sister/best friend: Melissa (Billy) Harrison and their children, Peyton, Sarah, and Evan Harrison.
