Funeral service 1:00PM Thursday, July 24, 2014 at McEvoy Funeral Home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation 4:00 - 7:00PM Wednesday and after 12:00PM Thursday. He was born in Dickson to the late W.E. and Genette England Estes. On March 19, 1969 he married Mary Helen Childs Estes, she preceded August 24, 2004. Survived by daughters: Cynthia Miller, Georgetown, FL, Mildred Creamer, Woodbridge, VA; son: Ronald (Lori) Estes, Memphis; seven granddaughters, one grandson, numerous great-grandchildren; special granddaughters: Donna Lee, Jackson and Cheryl Creamer, Norcross, GA. Horace was an avid gardener and bird watcher. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and best loved sitting on his porch and visiting with neighbors and friends.
