Howard Dale "Buck" Green, age 98, of Paris, Tennessee passed away Friday, May 21, 2021 at Henry County Healthcare Center. His body is to be cremated and a private family burial will take place at a later date in Elmwood Cemetery, Flora, Illinois. Howard Dale Green was born May 4, 1923 in Iola, Illinois to the late Silas Green and the late Gertrude Krutsinger Green. He married Dolores Gail Rodgers Green on March 15, 1946 and she preceded him in death January 31, 2010. Howard is survived by his daughters, Deborah (Roger) Kransi of Paris, Jill Green of Paris and Robin Green of Romulus, Michigan; by grandchildren, Edward and Chad Ignagni; Dylan Wilkins; Dale, Casey, Evan and Carly DeCrocker; great-grandchildren, Victoria and Trinity Ignagni and Archer Wilkins; nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members. Besides his parents and wife, Howard is also preceded in death by several sisters and two brothers, one of which preceded in infancy. Mr. Green attended Iola High School in Iola, Illinois. He was a WWII U.S. Navy veteran, holding the rank of Seaman First Class. Howard attended Como Church of Christ.
