Ila Mae Evans

Ila Mae Evans, age 81, McKenzie, TN, died at Henry County Healthcare Center Sunday, August 29, 2010. Her funeral will be conducted Tuesday at 1:00 PM at McEvoy Funeral Home with burial to follow in Bevil Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 PM Monday and after 11:00 AM Tuesday. Her parents Dewey and Minnie Simpson Marcum, are both preceded. She was married to Marshall Evans on February 9, 1946 and he preceded February 14, 1969. She is survived by daughters, Brenda Lou (Bruce) Flanagan, Lexington, TN, Rhonda Jean (Clyde) Barnard, McKenzie, TN, son, Elwood (Jane) Evans, Paris, TN, grandchildren, Kimberly (Travis) Beecham, Michelle (Josh) McClain, James (Amanda) Barnard, Nicole (Wesley) Overman, great-grandchildren, Greg McClain, Austin McClain, Andrew Haines, Allyson Beechaam. She was also preceded by three sisters, Pauline Atchison, Orene Webb and Margaret Marcum in infancy. She formerly worked at Salant & Salant and Hutson's Green House in Paris.
