Iona Ladd, age 85 of Buchanan, TN passed away Wednesday January 27, 2016 at her residence. Funeral service to be held at Murphy-Sedgwick Funeral Home, 209 East Chestnut, Canton, IL with her son Dennis Romine officiating. Burial at White Chapel Cemetery in Canton, IL. Date and time will be announced later. She was born July 10, 1930 in Fulton County, IL to the late Ellis Alfred Myers and Opal Sinnett Trobaugh. On November 3, 1964 she married Donald Matlock Ladd, he preceded August 8, 2007. Survived by sons: Dennis (Linda) Romine, Wausau, WI, Danny (Kim) Ladd, Buchanan, TN; step-daughters: Joyce (David) Odewalt, Hanna City, IL, Judy Clark, Hanna City, IL; step son: Jack (Marilyn) Ladd, Mountain Home, AR; grandchildren: seven; great-grandchildren: six; sister: JoAnn Thomas, Canton, IL. Preceded by sons: Darynn "Grizz" Romine and Darryl "Curly" Romine; brothers: Ellis Myers , Robert Myers and Donnie Myers.
