Iva Tyler Smith, age 79 of Paris passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Towne Square Care of Puryear. Her funeral service will be 2:00 PM Friday, November 16, 2018 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Phillip Boyd of Paris Community of Christ officiating. Burial will follow at Foundry Hill Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Friday prior to the service. Iva Tyler Smith was born November 25, 1938 to the late Bert Hensley and the late Georgie Ann Hensley. On April 16, 1961 she married Noble Lee Tyler and he preceded her in death on December 24, 1989. On November 18, 1994 she married Clarence "Lucky" Smith and he preceded her in death on August 26, 2002. Ms. Smith is survived by a daughter, Kristie (Eddie) Crosser of Paris, TN; one grandchild, Mason Blaze Crosser of Paris, TN; and one step-son, Gerald Tyler of Paris, TN. Besides her parents and husbands, Ms. Smith was also preceded in death by a grandchild, Courtland Elizabeth Tyler; a sister, Jean Bowles; and a brother, Junior Hensley. Iva Tyler Smith was a member of Paris Community of Christ. She was in the homemakers club and she volunteered for the blood drive. Memorials may be made to Easton's Angels, P.O.
