Jackey Evans, age 73 of Paris passed away Friday, November 4, 2016 at Paris Healthcare Center. His body is to be cremated and a memorial visitation will be Sunday, November 13, 2016 from 12:00-3:00PM at 655 Chandler Road in Paris, TN 38242. Jackey Evans was born January 8, 1943 in Henry County, Tennessee to the late John Howard Evans and the late Bertha Alice Brown Evans. On October 1, 2010 he married Ida Geraldine Owens Evans and she survives in Paris. Besides his wife, Jackey is survived by two daughters, Teresa Gail Mosley of Paris, TN and Melissa Carol (Joe) Waddell of Henry, TN; two step-daughters, Susan Jeanette Davis of Clinton, KY and Cynthia Diane Hargrove of Paris, TN; one sister, Diane Melton of Paris, TN; five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; one step-great grandchild; three nieces; and one nephew. Besides his parents, Jackey was preceded in death by one sister, Peggy McSwain; and four brothers, Wren, Bobby, Billy, and Clell Evans.
