Jackie Williams, Age 77 of Buchanan passed away Monday, June 1, 2020 at Henry County Medical Center. His funeral service will be Friday, June 5, 2020 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Barnhart of New Bethel Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be after noon Friday prior to the service. Jackie Williams was born September 16, 1942 in Paris, Tennessee to the late Barbara Williams and the late Bernice Oliver Williams. He married Sally Nabinger Williams and she survives in Buchanan, TN. Mr. Williams is also survived by a daughter, Suzanne Williams of Michigan; two sons: Michael Williams and Jeffrey Williams both of Michigan; one sister, Renea Broyles of Michigan; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and three step-children: Janet Wilkins of Greenbriar, TN, Cynthia (Ron) Ivey of Springville, TN, and Tom (Karen) Fielder of Buchanan. Besides his parents, Mr. Williams was also preceded in death by two sisters: Mary Williams and Nancy Williams; and three brothers: James Williams, Billy Williams, and David Williams.
