A graveside service will be held Thursday, 10:00AM, June 11, 2015 at Poplar Grove Cemetery with Rev. Jenna Goggins officiating. Funeral rites were held Monday June 8, 2015, 10:00AM at the Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in Santa Fe, NM. Father John Bethancourt officiated. Named as pallbearers are Brian Lewis, Matthew Lewis, Joshua Lewis, Benjamin Lewis, Samuel Lewis and Michael Commini. Mrs. Lewis was born in Oneonta, NY to the late Lawrence and Mildred Williams Bacon. On September 9, 1954 she married Lt. Col. Roger Leal Lewis, he preceded November 19, 2008. She is survived by sons: Brian (Amy) Lewis, Terre Haute, IN, Matthew (Melissa) Lewis, Santa Fe, NM; brothers: William (Bobbie) Bacon, Sarasota, FL, Lawrence (Sandy) Morse, Andover, MA; grandchildren: Joshua, Benjamin, Natalie, Samuel, Valerie, Sophia and Anna Lewis. Preceded by a brother: Walter Bacon. Jackie was a devoted wife and mother. She loved the Lord. She had a great love for music. She enjoyed serving others by volunteering in the communities, in which she and Roger lived throughout their lives, always making a good home and friends wherever they were.
