Wallace "Jake" Wade, age 92 of Paris, passed away Friday, November 27, 2020 at his residence. His funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at McEvoy Funeral Home with Dr. Gary Collier and Dr. John Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Walker Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 PM Wednesday prior to the service. Please social distance and wear masks. Wallace "Jake" Wade was born August 31, 1928 in Henry County, Tennessee to the late Benjamin F. Wade and the late Nellie Nance Wade. On October 29, 1954 he married Judy Enoch Wade and she survives in Paris, TN. He is also survived by his daughter, Kathy (Paul) Carney of Paris, TN; his son, Teddy (Opal) Wade of Paris, TN; one brother, Jimmie (Bettie) Wade of Paris, TN; and three grandchildren: Russell Wade, Brad (Jenny) Wade, and Alexandra (Kyle) Lewis. Besides his parents, Jake was also preceded in death by two sisters: Imogene Stephens and Maude Robinson; and four brothers: Milton Wade, Robert Wade, Doris Wade, and Ruben Wade. Jake was a member of Birds Creek Baptist Church and a Veteran of the United States Army.
