James Russell Blanchett, age 79, of Springville, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at his residence. No services are scheduled for Mr. Blanchett. James Blanchett was born June 19, 1942 in Lenox, Tennessee to the late L.J. Blanchett and the late Maude Lillian Henry Blanchett. He married Sheila Kay Grogan Blanchett on January 10, 1965 and she survives in Springville. He is also survived by his son, James Russell Blanchett, Jr. of Barlett, Illinois; grandchildren, Justin Russell Blanchett of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Jaclyn Rae Blanchett of Elgin, Illinois. Mr. Blanchett was an avid gardener that family members boast, grew the absolute best tomatoes. He attended the Church of God of Prophecy. Rus enjoyed golfing, boating, Playing poker and betting on sports.
