James Curtis Bomar, age 88 of Lynnville, passed away Sunday January 28, 2024 at his home.
James was born September 28, 1935 in Mansfield, TN to Curtis and Jewel Norwood Bomar. He was a Deacon at Lynnville Baptist Church, loved hunting, working cattle, farming, riding horses and even played a little Polo, but his pride was the iron work he created. James was preceded in death by his parents Curtis and Jewel Bomar, daughter Melanie Bomar, brother Lee Bomar, sister Mary Jane Bomar Bass, brothers in law Jimmie Shankle and Nolan Hicks.
Visitation will be 5-8pm Thursday February 1, 2024 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, Funeral will 1pm Friday February 2, 2024 at Carr & Erwin Chapel with interment to follow in Giles Memory Gardens.
Survivors include his loving wife of 68 yrs. Wilmadean Bomar of Lynnville, son Craig Bomar of Pulaski, daughters Donna Malugin (Billy) of Lynnville, Jamie Valentine (Jim) of Pulaski, brothers Gerald Bomar (Carol), Randy Bomar (Brenda) all of Henry County, sisters Carolyn Shankle, Brenda Wagner (Sonny) both of Henry County, Peggy Hicks of Indiana, brothers in law Harold Bass, Warren Richardson (Kay) , David Arnold all off Henry County, sister in law Valerie Bomar of Florida, grandchildren Jan Crutcher, Shawn Malugin, Sara Boatwright, Melanie Old, Shea Richardson, Jacey Bomar, great grandchildren John Crutcher, Clara Crutcher, Braxton Richardson, Connor Richardson, Elijah Ludeking, Addison Richardson, Silas Boatwright.
