Funeral service to be held at McEvoy Funeral Home on Monday, October 6, 2014, 1:00 P.M. with Bro. Sam Swanson officiating. Burial will follow at Walker Cemetery in Cottage Grove, TN. Visitation is at McEvoy Funeral Home from 12:00-1:00 P.M. Monday prior to the service. He was born in Danville, TN to the late Bert T. Chadwick and Daisy Felts Chadwick. On October 21, 1946 he married Roberta Highfill, she preceded February 19, 2004. Survived by daughter: Sandra (Ken) Rudolph of Laconia, IN; Son: Robert T. (Sharon Johnson) Chadwick of Greenfield, TN; grandchildren: Lucrecia Torrence and Jessica Chadwick Cooper; great-grandchildren: Morgan (Seth) Inman and Donna Thomas; great-great-grandchildren: Riley Inman. James is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mr. Chadwick was a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran. He worked and retired from the Millwrights and Carpenters Union being a member for over 50 years.
