Mr. James W. Hunsucker, age 71 of Buchanan, TN passed away Friday, April 28, 2023 at his residence. His body is to be cremated and a family celebration of life is being planned for a later date. James Wade Hunsucker was born August 29, 1951 in Holly Springs, MS to the late Darrell Hunsucker and the late Georgia Ellen Poole. He married Bonnie Cooley Hunsucker on February 4, 1994 and she survives in Buchanan, TN. James is also survived by a daughter, Connie (Josh) Hancock of Paris; sons, Frank (Kim) Cervantes of Cottage Grove, TN and Fred (Amy) Cervantes of Paris; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; sister, Susie Tice of Mt. Pleasant, MS; brother, Roger Dale Hunsucker of Waterford, MS; and also survived by other family members. Besides his parents, James is also preceded in death by six sisters and two brothers. James was a general contractor and owner/operator of his own construction company. He also worked for Interrail Signal for several years where he made many lifelong friends. He was a very devoted husband and loving father and grandfather. James was known to always wear a smile and was guaranteed to put one on your face when he saw you.
